    Description

THIS PRESTIGIOUS AND UNIQUE CURRENCY NOTE DISPLAYED HERE HAS BEEN AUTHENTICATED BY THE WORLD UNIVERSAL ORGANIZATION STANDARD KNOWN AS THE "PMG" ( PAPER MONEY GUARANTY).  IT IS SEALED AND IDENTIFIED AS " 1802859-003"
TO THIS DATE THIS CURRENCY NOTE IS THE ONLY KNOWN OR ESTABLISHED REMAINING IN EXISTENCE .
THE DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY FROM COLUMBIA ISSUED THIS CARTON PAPER CURRENCY TO PANAMA DURING THE UNDERTAKING AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE CANAL BY FRANCE  WHEN PANAMA WAS ONLY A PROVINCE WITHIN THE COLOMBIAN REPUBLIC. FRANCE WERE OVERSEEING THE "PANAMA CANAL" PROJECT WHEN THIS EMERGENCY TREASURY NOTE WERE PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED INTO CIRCULATION. THIS TYPE OF CURRENCY WAS LATER USED IN NEW CALEDONIA, AFRICA AND  OTHER PACIFIC ISLANDS FROM 1914-1923 AS DESCRIBED IN DETAIL (TIMBRES-MONNAIES SUR CARTONS) IN THE CATALOG TITLED "
BANKNOTES OF THE BANK OF FRENCH INDOCHINA" AUTHORED BY M. KOLSKY & M. MUSZYNSKI PAGES 168 & 169 RESEMBLING DIRECT CHARACTERISTICS.  SUBSEQUENTLY THIS METHOD WAS USED IN AFRICA AS WELL AS A MEANS OF CURRENCY.
    THESE 30,000 FIVE CENT
CURRENCY NOTES WERE THE NEW STANDARD, PREVIOUSLY TO THEM THEY WERE METAL TOKENS MADE BY TWO COMPANIES KNOWN AS "C.U.D'C.I. AND F.M. PIERRA" AND DEALT IN THE PARAISO SECTION CANTIENS & CULEBRA E COLON , THIS FACT HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED IN THE LEC. CATALOG BY JEAN LECOMPTE ON PAGE 556 PICTURED AS LEC
    4 AND LEC
    5.
THE HISTORIC VALUE OF THIS RARE CURRENCY NOTE IS DIRECTLY LINKED AND
    ENTANGLED WITH
    THE LEGENDARY 'PANAMA CANAL"
PROJECT THAT UNFORTUNATELY COST AN ESTIMATED 100,000 HUMAN LIVES BY THE END OF THE FRENCH ATTEMPT TO ACHIEVE THE WORLD RECORD FOR SUCH A TASK FOR THAT TIME
    PERIOD IN OUR H
    ISTORY.
“If you try to build this canal there will not be trees enough on the isthmus to make crosses for the graves of your laborers.” —
French resident in Panama to Ferdinand de Lesseps, 1880s
THE PICTURED POST CARD WAS PART OF THE PRECIOUS FIND WITH THIS TREASURY NOTE AND IS INCLUDED IN THIS TRANSACTION.
    IT IS THE JUDGEMENT
OF THE AUTHOR AND CONFIRMED BY OTHER SCHOLARS FROM THAT REGION IN THIS FIELD THAT THE THEORY OF THIS
NOTE CONCERNING CANCELLATION IS INCORRECT AND THE ACCURATE INTENT FOR THE HEART SHAPE OPENING IN THE NOTE IS INTENDED TO BE WORN ON A STRING OR NECKLACE AROUND THE NECK , WHICH WAS
A CUSTOMARY TRADITION IN THE SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRIES .
THIS POSTING IS EXCLUSIVELY LIMITED TO E-BAY AND INTENDED TO QUALIFIED BUYERS AS AN INSTITUTIONAL PRESENTATION ASSET WITH A SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL HISTORY LINK TO THE EARLY FRENCH COLONIAL EXPLORATION IN THE SOUTH AMERICAN CONTINENT AT THE END OF THE 19TH CENTURY.
